Different raw materials

The main raw materials of SPC floor core are stone powder and polyvinyl chloride. Both materials are highly stable and will not release any toxic and hazardous substances. They are raw materials that fundamentally solve environmental problems. The main raw material of laminate floor core is the board made of processed wood fiber. Due to its high density, it is stable during use and less likely to break.

Different production processes

The production method of SPC vinyl is "extrusion". After the raw materials are fully stirred, they will be directly formed together with the color film layer and the wear-resistant layer through the extrusion production line. In this process, the fundamental principle is to use the energy generated by high temperature, and no glue products are required throughout the process. The production method of laminate wood flooring is "hot pressing". The balance paper, core material, color film layer and wear-resistant layer are placed in a high-temperature pressing machine at 170°to 210°, and a pressure of 18 to 23MPa is set to finally form the board.

Different product characteristics

The raw materials of SPC rigid core vinyl plank contain stone powder, so it is heavier, and the stone-grained SPC tile is relatively closer to the ceramic tiles. Wood laminate is lighter, softer underfoot, and can better imitate the texture of wooden floors.

For these two products, DECNO has developed a unique product spectrum. For example, the SPC plank with Aquashield technology has a waterproof and mildew-proof backing film attached to the back, which can adapt to paving in humid areas; another example is water-resistant laminate flooring, with a 24-hour thickness swelling rate of 5%, which can not only show the appearance of wooden floors, but also reduce the trouble of difficult maintenance.
